It was advertised Luke Bryan and Riley Green
While Luke Bryan of course does a great concert, we seen him in concert before and had wanted to see Riley Green. I searched Riley Green on the website, clicked on the Rescheduled tour for Nov 2 at Hertz Arena and was directed to buy the tickets. We received no notification or anything that Riley Green was not going to be there. In fact it was still be advertised that he was the Special Guest the next day. I called Hertz Arena and they told me they have nothing to do with it and it's the artist and they took their money and we saw the show regardless of who was supposed to be there and I was out of luck. They said to call my credit card company to dispute. This was misrepresented on so many counts and it makes it difficult to support an artist when I feel like we don't matter. As long as they get their money, as Hertz Arena said that is all that matters.
Check your purse size
The concert itself was great, enjoyed both opening acts and the concert itself. What I didn’t like was the lack of notification, at least not without clicking through several pages of the venue website, that purses were not allowed unless they were clear or barely big enough to hold a phone. Fortunately they did provide free bag check, but it required going to the complete opposite side of the stadium from where I was trying to go both before and after the concert and completely inconvenienced my entire party who didn’t want me to go by myself and risk getting separated/lost. While I respect why they have this rule, this information should have been on that ticket.
Worse Luke concert I’ve seen
I love Luke, but to be honest, this was my 3rd concert for Luke and the worst one yet. He was drunk, admitted to partying all day in Georgia, wasn’t giving it his normal all and he didn’t even come out for an oncore. He seemed extremely tired and just ready for the show to be over. He kept talking about his football pool he was winning… :(
I’ve seen him at the Bucks stadium in Tampa and in Nashville, both of those concerts were amazing!!! For those that have never seen him, they liked the concert. I just know how good he can be and was very disappointed.
For the price of the tickets he could and should do better.
